About the Project
In 1956, four legends came together for a once-in-a-lifetime recording session. It was the first and last time Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash recorded together and it became known as the ‘Million Dollar Quartet.’ We partnered with CMT to produce a teaser trailer for the original series based on the hit Broadway musical.

Did you know?
– Elvis had much more than singing chops. He also earned a black belt in Karate in 1960.
– Much to his surprise, Carl Perkins was a major influence on The Beatles. The fab four recorded five of his songs, the most The Beatles recorded from an outside source.
– Johnny Cash was a close friend to several U.S. Presidents including Richard Nixon. He was closest with Jimmy Carter, who was a distant relative of his wife, June Carter Cash.
– What do Jerry Lee Lewis and Edgar Allen Poe have in common? They each married 13 year old cousins. Great balls of fire!
