About the Project
When Ice Age: Continental Drift first aired on television, we produced the spots for the world broadcast premiere on FX. The prehistoric posse returns for another adventure when their continent is set adrift. Ray Romano, Queen Latifah, John Leguizamo and Dennis Leary are back plus a few surprise guest voices, growls and grunts.

Did you know?
– Mimicking the motion of the ocean and storm shots was a big issue for the animators, but after being reviewed by the film’s creators, there were concerns that the ocean was too realistic and would cause the audience to get seasick while watching.
– There were an incredible 963 different skies created or the project. The animators wanted to make sure the sky was the right color at the right time and that the sun was in the right place for every scene in the movie.
– The character Captain Gutt is based on Gigantopithecus Blacki, a prehistoric orangutan, which, according to fossils, may have stood almost 10 feet tall. Ironically, the voice of Captain Gutt is none other than Peter Dinklage, known for playing the role of Tyrion Lannister on HBO’s Game of Thrones.
